Stunt driving: definition
Stunt driving charges often relate to excessive speeding, but can also relate to other dangerous driving behaviours. In addition to excessive speeding (40km/hr or 50km/hr over the posted speed limit), stunt driving offences also include driving with someone in the trunk, “burnouts” or “doughnuts” or “drifting”, weaving in and out of traffic while speeding, participating in street races, and “ghost riding”, among other unsafe actions.
If you’re charged with stunt driving, you will immediately have your vehicle seized for 14 days and you’ll lose your licence for 30 days.
