Speeding: Defenition
When a driver operating a commercial vehicle (such as a transport truck, bus, or other regulated vehicle) is caught speeding, the speeding offence is recorded against the CVOR record of the operator and against the driver. Speeding in a commercial vehicle is taken seriously due to the increased risk to public safety, the size and weight of these vehicles, and the potential for greater harm in collisions.
